Pine Support

This guide will help you get started using pine in your RimaSec.Net shell account.

What is Pine
Pine is a screen-oriented e-mail client.

Using Pine
To run pine from your shell account type:

pine

  1. To read your e-mails use the up and down arrows of your keyboard, select Folder Lists to view your INBOX or type L.
  2. To compose a new e-mail use the up and down arrows of your keyboard, slect Compose Message or type C.
  3. To return to the main menu, type M. To cancle composed e-mail, type CTRL C
  4. To exit pine, when in the main menu using the up and down arrows, select Quit or type Q.
